Early enrollee true freshman Kameron Allen comes in first on the list. Allen is an underrated player from Forney, Texas, who has a chance to do big things even in year one.

Veteran Matt Dotson is not on the spring roster, so it’s assumed he has medically retired from football. Plus, Adam Berghorst is not currently with the team, as he is pitching for the baseball team right now where he boasts an impressive 1.93 ERA in 14 innings pitched this season. That leaves Trenton Gillison and Parks Gissinger left in the tight end room.

Gillison has shown flashes and is probably going to be the starter and Gissinger has barely made it on to the field on his first, three years at Michigan State. This is the perfect opportunity for someone to step up.

Now its likely Michigan State will add another tight end via the transfer portal, but until then Allen has a real shot at making some noise,

Spartan fans should have their eyes glued to Allen, as he has a chance to show off some big things this spring.
