1. Michigan State finds a way

I’ve found it very difficult to be optimistic about Michigan State heading into a big game this season, but the fact that the Spartans have beaten Ohio State and a really good Illinois team just goes to show that they can hang with elite teams when they play to their potential.

Time for some optimism heading into Sunday’s game: the Spartans will play to their potential again.

Michigan State downed two straight top-five teams a couple of weeks ago and will add a third win over a top-five team in six games which should do just enough to ensure that the Spartans will make the Big Dance as an at-large team.

Joshua Langford and Aaron Henry will show up and lead the way and guys like Gabe Brown, Joey Hauser and Rocket Watts will finally all play well in the same game. Role players will step up and take some of the pressure off of Langford and Henry.

Michigan will make things very tough on the Spartans again but this time, Tom Izzo will figure out the right game plan to pull off the massive upset.

Senior Day ends on a positive note in East Lansing with a three-point win.

Sometimes you just have to speak it into existence.
