2. Gabe Brown has a big game

Gabe Brown has been fairly consistent in most facets this season, but his scoring totals have been an absolute rollercoaster since the start of 2021.

In fact, he scored 10 points against Nebraska on Jan. 2 and then had just 10 total points over the next four games. Then he went off for 15 points against Iowa on Feb. 13, scored six the next game at Purdue, dropped 14 at Indiana, was held to five against Illinois, scored 11 against Ohio State and then had seven at Maryland.

Every other game since Feb. 13, he’s scored in double figures.

Well, the last game Michigan State played, he had just seven points so that trend is going to continue on Tuesday night as he’ll follow up the previous solid showing against Indiana with another double-digit scoring performance. He’ll score 17 with five big 3-pointers to breathe life into that Michigan State offense throughout the game.

When Brown scores at least 10 points this season, Michigan State is 6-2. When he scores at least 15, Michigan State is 2-1. Will both of those records improve after this huge game?
