1. Michigan State will (finally) get revenge

Last season, Michigan State and Indiana only met one time at Assembly Hall and the Hoosiers escaped with a four-point win which felt like it should have gone the other way.

The year before, Indiana got the best of the Spartans two times — once in an overtime battle in East Lansing and the other in a one-point thriller in Bloomington. The last time Michigan State beat Indiana was back in February of 2018 but that seems like a lifetime ago. A couple of average Indiana teams took down Big Ten champion MSU teams over the past two seasons which has been head-scratching, to say the least.

So if there’s any season in which Michigan State will exact revenge, it would be in the Spartans’ worst season in over two decades, right? Obviously.

This season makes no sense and Indiana has yet another average team so Michigan State has a decent shot of pulling off the road win here. It would technically be an “upset” but I doubt anyone would refer to it as such if the Spartans won.

Michigan State will somehow find a way to pull a rabbit out of the hat here and get a much-needed win to end a two-game skid.
