Myles Rowser was a Michigan commit not too long ago, but Michigan State has gotten back into the running with his decommitment back in April.

The Spartans didn’t look to have much of a chance after he committed but with him reopening his recruitment and Mel Tucker trying to rebuild that Belleville pipeline, this would be the perfect opportunity to make up for losing Rayshaun Benny to the Wolverines at the last minute.

Imagine Michigan ends up with Benny and Michigan State gets Rowser — that would be a backwards thought process about 5-6 months ago.

Rowser is one of the best prospects in the state of Michigan (No. 3) for 2022 and he’ll be able to play right away with Xavier Henderson graduating and Michael Dowell entering his final season. He’s the No. 124 overall prospect and 10th-best safety in the class.

Michigan State just made his top 10 and could rebuild that pipeline right here.
