Another offensive lineman from the state of Michigan who may soon be committing is Ashton Lepo who also might be the most overlooked prospect on this list.

Michigan State just offered Lepo on Feb. 3 and it seems like that was one that he had been waiting for because the Spartans rose to the top of his list almost immediately. His offer sheet isn’t incredibly impressive with just nine programs on it, but expect that to grow in the near future. He’s going to blow up in the recruiting circuit soon and Michigan State will feel lucky to have gotten in early on him.

Lepo is on the thinner side of things at 260 pounds while standing 6-foot-7 but putting on weight is something that hasn’t been all that difficult for offensive linemen under Mel Tucker.

Chris Kapilovic is the lead recruiter here and his resume speaks for itself. If Lepo wants to improve right away, Kapilovic is the coach he’ll want to play for.

As it stands right now, Lepo is listed as the No. 61 tackle in the class and the 20th-best Michigan recruit, per 247Sports. Expect a rise — and maybe even a commitment — soon.
