Now we’re getting into the Michigan-based recruits on the list. Kamarii Landers may not be as highly-rated as some of the other prospects who made the cut, but he fills a position of need and he may be closer to committing than the rest of the bunch.

Landers is listed as the No. 608 overall prospect and 57th-best offensive tackle in the class, according to the composite. He’s also the state’s No. 19 recruit.

Right now, Michigan State is considered the heavy favorite to land Landers and Kentucky, Michigan and Oregon are also in the running. I, however, would be shocked if he wasn’t a Spartan some time by the summer or before his senior year.

Michigan State is trying to land him and a teammate of his for the 2022 class and we all know Mel Tucker likes his recruits having impressive size and Landers has just that at 6-5 and 300 pounds. No offensive linemen that Tucker recruits will be small.

It seems like it’s only a matter of time before he’s a Spartan.
