Speaking of receivers, you’ll notice a theme on this list as it’s one of the most targeted position groups for Mel Tucker and the Spartans in 2022.

Like Kevin Thomas, Darrius Clemons also has terrific size at 6-3 and 205 pounds and he’s one of the most elite wide outs in the entire class. Right now, he holds 30 scholarship offers and could have his pick of the litter when it comes down to it. Programs like Arizona State, Utah, Penn State and Oregon are standing out to him along with MSU early on, but he’s also been offered by Auburn, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Stanford, UCLA, Washington, Wisconsin and West Virginia.

This dude is legit.

Not only does he have the size, but he also has strong hands and a knack for high-pointing the ball. Brandon Huffman of 247Sports compared him to Allen Robinson which is quite the compliment.

It’s interesting to see which new areas of the country the new coaching staff try to build pipelines in and Clemons is a Portland, Ore., native. Tucker is dipping his hand in Pac-12 territory and he might just come away with an elite wide out who’s ranked No. 129 overall in the class.
