Some rival team-specific recruiting websites are trying to push the narrative that Rayshaun Benny is a legitimate flip candidate without any basis for those claims.

Could Benny flip on National Signing Day? I suppose anything is possible in the recruiting world, but he has shown nothing but positivity when talking about Michigan State and has said on multiple occasions that he doesn’t plan on signing anywhere else and that East Lansing is the place for him.

Rival fans will still be holding out hope on signing day that he will shock the Spartans and sign with Michigan, but the likelihood of that happening is not strong.

Benny committed to Michigan State over Michigan back in the fall after the Spartans beat the Wolverines and picked up some serious momentum on the recruiting trail in the state. He didn’t sign early because he said that was never the plan and now that signing day is here and there have been no developments on a potential “flip”, I think he stays green.

Drama free day for Mel Tucker on Wednesday.

Prediction: Michigan State
