You might be wondering why Rayshaun Benny is on this list if he’s committed and that’s because he has yet to sign. So for Michigan State, he needs to be the top priority recruit to hold on to for National Signing Day.

There’s been no indication that he’s going to flip elsewhere, but that hasn’t stopped them from trying. In fact, Michigan has been hot on his heals for months with the hopes of flipping him.

Benny has said for weeks that he wasn’t signing early because that was never the plan, not because he intends to keep other options in mind. He’s currently the only Michigan State commit that has yet to sign which has some fans on edge.

I fully expect him to sign with Michigan State, but it’s not crazy to hold your breath until he officially signs.

The four-star lineman can play on either side of the ball and that’s what makes him such a priority recruit. He’s a must-have for the program and would be the second-highest ranked signee at No. 194 overall in the country.

Expect Mel Tucker to hold off a push from Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines, but Benny is priority No. 1 for signing day.
