2. Aaron Henry leads all scorers

The slump that Aaron Henry is experiencing comes as a bit of a shock given how good he looked at the beginning of the season. He looked like a potential walking triple-double through the first few games and while he wasn’t shooting the ball well, he was going other things really well. He was passing, rebounding and defending at an elite level.

Not over this three-game losing streak, however. Actually, his defense has suffered over the past 5-6 games — as has the entire team’s defense.

Tom Izzo needs Henry to step up and be a leader. He needs to be an alpha dog. He needs to take the reins and be the captain that he was expecting before the year and I think that starts on Saturday night against Nebraska.

Henry will play well defensively and get some confidence on that end which will translate to the other side of the court where he’ll lead all scorers.

The junior wing will finish with 21 points, eight rebounds and six assists.
