Miles Bridges, Charlotte Hornets

No Hornet was happier than Miles Bridges when LaMelo Ball fell into Charlotte’s lap with the third overall pick in last month’s NBA draft.

LaMelo’s court vision and unselfishness make him an excellent point guard prospect. His love for up-tempo basketball and throwing lobs make him the ideal running mate for Bridges in the open court. This pairing has been fun to watch so far this pre-season and they will surely hunt fast-breaks every chance they get.

They’re both running with the second unit to provide the Hornets with some firepower entering the game to relieve the starters.

Expect to see Bridges score more this year with a fair share of those points coming off of alley-oops from Ball. This duo will undoubtedly bring the buzz back to Buzz City.
