Draymond Green, Golden State Warriors

It’s hard to believe Draymond Green is entering his ninth season in the NBA. He’s the epitome of a stat sheet stuffer boasting career averages of nine points, seven rebounds and five assists per game. He is the ultimate leader and is the unquestioned anchor of Golden State’s defense.

The three-time all-star, five-time NBA all-defensive team member, 2016-17 NBA Defensive Player of the Year who has three title notches on his belt, is able to guard all five positions with an intensity and toughness that very few of his peers can match.

Steph Curry is back from a hand injury that sidelined him last season. Andrew Wiggins, Kelly Oubre Jr., and James Wiseman round out an impressive starting five.

The loss of sharpshooter Klay Thompson hurts and the Warriors don’t have stellar reserves but their collection of starters are as dangerous as just about any team in the West from 1-5.
