2. Gabe Brown stays hot, scores 15

Gabe Brown has been a revelation lately. In fact, he’s averaging nearly 15 points per game over the last three outings, scoring 20 against Oakland in the most recent affair. He looked like the player everyone was hoping he’d be when he came to Michigan State, flashing his athleticism and shooting ability against the Grizzlies.

Brown is going to stay hot on Sunday night against a Northwestern team that might not be able to match up with his length and athleticism on the wing.

Going with the trend over the last three games, I’ll say Gabe scores at least 15 again, marking the third time in four games that he will have scored at least 15. On the season, he’s scored at least 10 points in three out of six games and it looks like he’s turning the corner, especially with his confidence level increasing.

Michigan State looks like it has the best sixth man in the league right now and if he continues to play like this, there’s no way Tom Izzo can keep him on the bench.
