2. Rocket Watts has his first breakout game of 2020-21

One guy who I feel has been hampered a little bit due to an offseason injury that bled into the first game, Rocket Watts is going to finally go off and show exactly why he was considered one of the breakout candidates from around college basketball on Tuesday night.

Does Duke have enough guys who can match up with Watts? Maybe but will they do a good enough job to keep him in check? I’m doubtful.

We all saw what happened when Tom Izzo got into his ear when he made a mistake against Notre Dame. He went crazy. He ended up with 13 points and looked like the Rocket from last February and early-March. He was dominating the Irish and showed that he still has the ability to despite the slow start to the season.

Watts is going to have himself a game as I see him getting the start and hitting a couple of early step-back threes. He’ll add some fast-break buckets and runners but he’ll really take over in the second half with 15 points. I see Watts finishing the game leading all scorers with 27.
