2. Michigan State has seven double-digit scorers

While the Spartans will struggle in the first half, shooting somewhere just under 40 percent and keeping the Eagles in the game, they will still score about 35-40 points and perk up in the second half.

The offense will finally pick up steam in the final few minutes of the first half, leading into the second half. Michigan State will be scoring at will in the final 20-25 minutes of the game, continuing to build on a lead.

Rocket Watts will play about 30 minutes and he’ll lead all scorers with 21 points. Will this be enough to win that starting point guard job for the rest of the season? Judging on Tom Izzo’s coachspeak so far, he likely won’t reveal such a thing.

Watts won’t be the only Spartan in double figures, though. Six other players will score at least 10 points: Joey Hauser, Joshua Langford, Gabe Brown, Aaron Henry, Marcus Bingham Jr., Malik Hall and even Foster Loyer will get into the action.
