2. This team is going to turn around and beat Indiana

If 2020 has taught us anything, it’s that nothing makes sense. Michigan State opened the season with a loss to Rutgers and then turned around to beat No. 13 Michigan on the road which proved that notion. You would have thought that the Spartans would have the mojo to go on the road to beat an 0-2 Iowa team that had one of the worst offenses in the league, right?

Wrong. And Iowa put up 49 points in the process.

See, nothing makes sense.

For that reason alone, I’m going to die on the hill that Michigan State is going to turn around and beat Indiana on Saturday afternoon in East Lansing.

Michael Penix Jr. and the Hoosiers scare the heck out of me. They should scare the heck out of anyone after a 3-0 start with wins over Michigan and Penn State in impressive fashion, but they have proven to be beatable. The Wolverines’ defense struggled mightily to stop the air attack from Penix Jr. and I think the Spartans can do a better job.

Penn State had Indiana on the ropes but a late gaffe by the offense cost the Nittany Lions a sure win on the road.

Michigan State can take care of this team and if we know anything about Mel Tucker thus far is that he doesn’t let his team dwell on losses — even the bad ones. That’s why I believe this team comes back to beat Indiana.
