3. Spartans pick off six passes

Want to talk about bold? How about averaging 1.5 interceptions per game through the rest of the month?

Michigan State opens the month with a game against Iowa and that quarterback situation is not great. The Hawkeyes have a first-year starter and he may be prone to interceptions and turnovers and if the Spartans’ defensive line can get some pressure on him, he could make some panic throws and with how well Kalon Gervin, Shakur Brown, Xavier Henderson and Christian Jackson played against Michigan, picks wouldn’t be a shock.

Then the Spartans host Indiana and Michael Penix Jr. might be one of the bright young stars in the conference, but I can see Michigan State picking him off once.

Taulia Tagovailoa and Maryland will be awaiting in College Park on Nov. 21 and first-year starters can sometimes struggle against surging defenses and that’s what I see happening here. Michigan State will be gaining momentum by this point in the year.

Lastly, Peyton Ramsey is a tough matchup but he throws so much that he could be easily prove to turnovers. I’m going to say Michigan State picks him off twice in a home game against Northwestern to end November.

Six picks for Michigan State in November. Is the ‘No Fly Zone’ back?
