There are three position groups that Michigan State football needs to address to finish out the 2021 recruiting class on a high note.

Last Saturday, Michigan State knocked off in-state rival Michigan and recruits across the country took notice.

After being hired in February, then a global pandemic stopping the world three weeks later, Mel Tucker virtually had no time to meet his own team, let alone his top recruiting targets.

Since Tucker was hired all he could sell was hope, now he can sell results. A win against a top-15 team was the first time recruits could see what vision Tucker has for the program. Every win going forward will create buzz on the recruiting trail.

Right now there is currently fifteen players committed to Michigan State. Early signing day is Dec. 16, so Tucker and his staff will look to add more pieces to the class during these next six weeks.

Let’s take a look at what positions Michigan State needs to address to finish out the 2021 class.
