3. Elijah Collins rushes for 1,000 yards

Yes, I understand there are going to be three (if you include the crossover) less regular season games this season than normal and there’s no guarantee that the Spartans will make a bowl game, so what makes me so confident that Elijah Collins will be the first MSU running back to finish with 1,000 rushing yards since Jeremy Langford in 2014?

Chris Kapilovic.

The Spartans’ new offensive line coach is regarded as one of the best in the industry and he has plenty of young talent to work with. For years, Michigan State had one of the worst offensive lines in the Big Ten and that should change in 2020.

Heck, last season even featured a horrid offensive line and Collins still managed 988 yards and five touchdowns. Imagine what he can do with a competent offensive line.

Expect a big season from Collins where he finishes about 1,000 yards with 10 touchdowns, averaging about 125 yards per game.
