Sticking with the pass game — because Elijah Collins has the backfield locked down — Tre Mosley is one of the most interesting new players on offense and he had quite the freshman season in an offense that featured Darrell Stewart Jr. and Cody White.

Mosley was one of the top prospects in the state of Michigan when he came in with the 2019 class and he lived up to that with 21 receptions for 216 yards and a touchdown.

While his numbers didn’t exactly jump off the sheet, he made some impressive plays throughout the year and showed poise for a first-year guy. He dropped a couple of passes but he also made some huge catches and even added his first career touchdown.

And that was all in a shaky offensive scheme.

With a new offense in place, he gets a fresh start and a potentially more potent attack to work with. He might just become the leading receiver of the Spartans this season based on his skill set and need for the position. He’ll be battling it out with Jayden Reed for that top spot.
