1. MSU will have shot to take lead late vs. Michigan

Getting Michigan in Week 2 is actually a huge win already for Michigan State. Getting the Wolverines in the second week with a brand new starting quarterback and no fans in attendance in Ann Arbor is even more of a victory. If there’s any year the Spartans could pull off a massive upset in this rivalry, this is it.

It all depends on the quarterback position and I think that Theo Day will make a serious difference, especially with the weapons he has at receiver.

Elijah Collins will have a 100-yard performance and Day will do just enough to keep the Spartans in the game on the road and the defense will take advantage of a new quarterback in his second start. This game will be within one touchdown going into the fourth quarter.

Michigan State will have an opportunity to take a late lead and potentially sew up a huge victory over a ranked Michigan team in Ann Arbor, but a turnover in the middle of the fourth with crush those hopes.

This will still give MSU fans a ton of hope for the future of this rivalry.
