3. Indiana Hoosiers

Michigan State will get some relief after two tough games against Michigan and Iowa when it returns home in East Lansing to face the Indiana Hoosiers. A battle between two blue blood basketball programs in the game of football should keep your eyes glued to the screen.

Having said that, these two programs are in entirely different places. Michigan State, for obvious reasons, is a long way from its prime while the Indiana Hoosiers just had their most successful season in a quarter century. Tom Allen and company should be looking to make another push toward a bowl game, even without a six-game requirement.

Despite this, I actually see the Spartans winning this game. This Indiana team has lost multiple coaches and key players to transfer while trying to stay afloat.

Meanwhile, MSU will be coming home after (presumably) two losses to face an Indiana team that they have beat in nine of 10 previous matchups, with the sole loss coming in a flukey 2016 season. I don’t think the script flips here, and the Spartans should bounce back after a tough two-game stretch.
