Maryland is in the second year of Mike Locksley and they will have plenty of question marks heading into the season but the quarterback position may be figured out by the time this game rolls around in late-November.

Josh Jackson opted out of the 2020 season but there’s a chance he could be back while Taulia Tagovailoa transferred in from Alabama and was granted immediate eligibility.

The Terrapins are still very young and that could allow this Michigan State team to feast around Thanksgiving.

Final Score: Michigan State 35, Maryland 24 (2-3)

Momentum will be built here after almost beating Indiana and then taking down Maryland on the road as the Spartans will come home to face a beatable Northwestern team.

Don’t get me wrong, the Wildcats will be tough with Peyton Ramsey starting this season after transferring in from Indiana, but the Spartans have what it takes to beat them for a second straight season.

Northwestern always seems to have Michigan State’s number, but this one will favor the green and white.

Final Score: Northwestern 21, Michigan State 28 (3-3)
