Passing

Passing yards: Theo Day
Passing touchdowns: Theo Day
Completion percentage: Theo Day

Don’t let the picture above fool you, I believe Theo Day wins the quarterback battle with Payton Thorne and Rocky Lombardi right behind. There are just no pictures in Getty of Theo or Thorne, so we have to go with the veteran and only gunslinger with enough experience to actually have a photo taken of him in live action.

In that case, the passing leader for the Spartans this upcoming season, in my opinion, will be Day in terms of touchdowns, yards and completion percentage.

While Lombardi might begin the season as the starting quarterback but he won’t keep that job with Day coming in and playing well. He might have to fight for the job, but he’ll be starting by the second or third game of the season.

Day will finish the season with just about 2,000 yards and 15 touchdowns to go along with a completion rate that hovers around 60 percent.

Of course, I could be completely wrong on this prediction.
