The last time Michigan State tried to swing an elite point guard out of Minnesota, he ended up going to Duke and winning a national title. Tom Izzo hopes this time is different.

Holloman is listed as the No. 51 player in the class, according to the composite. He’s also the nation’s seventh-best point guard and No. 1 player from the state of Minnesota.
