Michigan State football is trending with two four-star New Jersey-based recruits in Audric Estime and Geno VanDeMark.

Recruiting has been a sore subject for Michigan State football fans in recent months with top targets such as Jaylen Reed and Jamari Buddin deciding to pick Penn State and Andrel Anthony committing to Michigan.

On top of that, Mike Myslinski, who was a top offensive line target for the green and white, committed to Texas on Thursday morning.

It’s been gut-punch after gut-punch for the Spartan and new head coach Mel Tucker, but that could be changing in the near future with a pair of four-star New Jersey-based recruits trending toward the green and white.

Four-star running back Audric Estime and four-star lineman Geno VanDeMark, teammates at St. Joseph Regional High School in Montvale, N.J., are looking greener by the day.

While Justin Thind and Corey Robinson are Michigan State writers, they’re both very knowledgable insiders and they wouldn’t be making these predictions if they didn’t hold some merit. In other words, there’s a good reason why both have made the predictions for Estime and VanDeMark to Michigan State.

If that wasn’t enough, national recruiting expert Brian Dohn also made predictions for both four-stars to Michigan State.

This is the recruiting momentum that Michigan State desperately needs after a handful of tough misses. Estime is one of the best running backs in the class, ranked No. 343 overall and as the 18th-best player at the position, according to 247Sports. VanDeMark is the No. 317 player in the class and 18th-best offensive guard.

Not only would this boost the 2021 class instantly, but it would also help on a national stage.

Both Estime (a strong 6-foot-1.5, 215-pound rusher) and VanDeMark would top the 2021 class in terms of player rankings for Michigan State. They would vault the Spartans out of the Big Ten’s recruiting cellar for the class.
