The start of the murderer’s row of games took place a week before to end September against Penn State but it continues at the beginning of October with Michigan.

Fortunately for Michigan State, a second straight road game against the Wolverines takes place in a year that fans won’t be a factor. Playing in Ann Arbor in front of 100,000 fans is much different than doing so in front of an empty — or partially filled — Big House.

It shouldn’t matter much as Michigan has the advantage at most positions on both sides of the ball even with Shea Patterson and Donovan Peoples-Jones gone.

Final Score: Michigan State 10, Michigan 30 (2-3)

Ohio State is the team that no one wants to see even in a year that doesn’t seem normal. The Buckeyes are one of the favorites to make the College Football Playoff and no one expected them to lose a single conference game in 2020 — but there’s always a slip-up for Ohio State.

Don’t expect that here.

Michigan State always seems to play the Buckeyes tough, but this isn’t going to be pretty. Ohio State will jump out to a big lead because of Justin Fields and they won’t look back. Shield your eyes, folks, this one won’t be that close.

Final Score: Ohio State 42, Michigan State 14 (2-4)
