5. Armed Forces Classic camouflage uniforms

Michigan State has competed in the Armed Forces Classic on multiple occasions, but for the sake of this article, I had to choose one. The one that I landed on was worn during the Spartans matchup against Arizona in 2016.

What makes these uniforms so great isn’t even the camo itself, rather what these uniforms meant. It was the beginning of the short, but sweet Miles Bridges era. He wore this in his debut in the green and white and had a field day against the Wildcats, finishing alley-oops and scoring via reverse dunks in the most electrifying freshman debut that I’ve ever seen at Michigan State.

As for the uniforms themselves, they’re certainly unique, but I would have liked to see a little bit more subtlety in the camouflage. That being said, it’s definitely a great look and I would not mind if this became a regular jersey in East Lansing.

We likely won’t see these again unless MSU competes in another Armed Forces matchup.
