2. Green helmet and jersey (2007-09)

There wasn’t a photo in the system that showed how bad these uniforms actually look, so here’s a tweet with a better one:

The root of the problem for these uniforms stands in the fact that the jersey and helmets just don’t match. At all. How did these uniforms get through production when the jersey and helmet are two entirely different shades of green? For some reason, whoever designed this look decided to give the jerseys a swampy-green color and keep the helmets as the traditional green.

Maybe I’m overstating how bad these are because I’m very keen on things matching, but it’s impossible to take a team seriously when they can’t even match their helmet to the rest of their uniform.

Unlike the chrome helmets, these have no redeeming qualities whatsoever. Even if the jerseys and helmets did match, they’d be boring.
