Michigan State is in dire need of a middle linebacker for the 2020 season and while Antjuan Simmons could fill that role left open by Joe Bachie, redshirt freshman Luke Fulton is an intriguing prospect who was highly-touted out of high school.

The Youngstown, Ohio, native was a four-star prospect and was ranked the No. 20 inside linebacker in the 2019 class and the 11th-best recruit from the state, per 247Sports.

Noah Harvey could play here and so could Chase Kline, but Fulton has the highest upside of the bunch and that could allow Simmons to play his natural outside linebacker position.

Fulton stands 6-foot-3 and 230 pounds and is one of the more aggressive linebackers. He flies to the ball and plays like a wrecking ball in the middle of the defense. He just has that leadership mentality and he could be the perfect replacement from Bachie.
