Miami Hurricanes

Of every game on the schedule in 2020, this is the one I’m most looking forward to watching.

My logic is actually worrisome, as I had the same thoughts for the Redbox Bowl against Oregon. Two big brand teams who aren’t at their peak. A matchup that will bring viewers from outside of just the two fanbases. That is, if either team can actually score the ball at any point.

Miami has a similar story to MSU in recent years: a top-tier defense and an offense that looks lost against FBS opponents. Both MSU and The U have won 13 games each over the last two seasons. Most recently, Miami is coming off of a 6-7 season with a loss in the Independence Bowl.

Miami finished 98th in total offense in 2019, three spots behind the Spartans who finished in the 95th spot. You can’t say much about the excitement behind this matchup, but you can definitely say that it’ll be a good game.

I’m not as confident about this game as the other toss ups; this one could go either way.
