That’s usually either really good or really bad. Hardly is there ever an in-between with a person who identifies as a maverick.

Spartan fans hope that Hansen leans more toward the good side of that and usually defensive linemen have their own extreme personalities so he just might be the next colorful Spartan.
The Farmington Hills, Mich., native was a late addition to the 2019 recruiting class which was impressive for Mark Dantonio and Co. considering he held offers from the likes of Syracuse and Iowa State and he was an early signing day commit.
Hansen has plenty of size at 6-foot-4 and 280 pounds and he’ll look to make a serious impact on the interior of the defensive line with Raequan Williams and Mike Panasiuk gone.
