Gabe Brown’s NBA draft stock is unknown, but there is loads of potential.

Like Aaron Henry, Brown struggled with consistency. He started off the year incredibly hot, but cooled off once the calendar turned to 2020. There were a few bright spots, but the overall consistency wasn’t there. He will have to produce more often in 2020-21 to have a shot at being an NBA player.

Brown has good size and length to play small forward in the NBA, standing at 6-7 and weighing 209 pounds. He looks slender, but he can use his length to his advantage on the defensive end. His athleticism will also be enticing, as we’ve seen him attempt (and sometimes finish) monster dunks.

His 3-point shot is there, but a lot of times leaves much to be desired. Although he didn’t have a good finish to the 2019-20 season, his best game came at the end of February against Nebraska, when he scored 17 points, knocking down five 3-point shots. He doesn’t lack confidence either, because often he would shoot the ball as soon as he touched it.

Gabe has a high ceiling as a potential 3-and-D wing at the NBA level, but he’ll need to prove he can consistently produce next season in a bigger role if he wants to be selected in the 2021 draft.
