Boomer

  • Hail Mary, Makaveli
    • This one is on his pregame playlist, which I don’t totally understand. Doesn’t really want make me run through a wall, but what do I know? This one is purely an age thing.
  • Holy Grail, JAY-Z feat. Justin Timberlake
    • Post Black Album Jay — yuck.
  • Apache, The Sugarhill Gang
    • Not a bad song, but the members of The Sugarhill Gang are all literally boomers, so you know I had to do it to ’em. Plus, the phrase “My name is x and I’m here to say” appears in this song. Enough said.
  • Money In The Grave, Drake feat. Rick Ross
    • Money In The Grave is like an AI written Drake song. Not even a Rick Ross feature can save it.
  • Something Just Like This, The Chainsmokers feat. Coldplay
    • Same thing as the song above, but swap Drake for The Chainsmokers, and rap for EDM. Plus, Coldplay.
  • Maps, Maroon 5
    • Just an overall questionable choice from Coach Tucker here.
  • Hotel California, Eagles
    • If you’ve listened your local classic rock station for more than 15 minutes, you’ve heard this song. Is it good? I don’t know, but I’ve never actively chosen to listen to this song, yet I somehow know the entire melody?
