There are some NFL draft experts that believe Josiah Scott is by far and away the best prospect Michigan State has to offer and there are others who are overlooking the junior cornerback. But if you watched him over the past three seasons at Michigan State, you’d realize that his slight frame didn’t matter much.

Scott stands 5-foot-9 and weighs in at about 185 pounds which might scare some teams away, but he has the potential to be a lockdown corner like he was in East Lansing.

As a freshman, he caught everyone’s attention, winning the starting job right away and finishing the 2017 season with 30 tackles, an interception and nine pass breakups. The next year, he played in only five games because of an injury and still managed to pick off two passes and break up seven passes.

During his final season in East Lansing, Scott finished with 52 total tackles, three picks, six pass breakups, a fumble recovery and a forced fumble. He was extremely productive and remained healthy and I could see him going late in Day 2 at the earliest.

Projection: Third or fourth round
