6. Furious comeback at Penn State

How could we leave this one out? Michigan State found itself down 15 at halftime to No. 20 Penn State on the road and it looked like all that work to get back into the Big Ten title hunt was for nothing as it was about to get crushed in Happy Valley.

And then the second half started.

It only took five minutes for Michigan State to erase a 15-point deficit to get back into the game and then take the lead for good. Penn State made a push to get back into it late, but the Spartans shut the door in the final minute thanks to a “kill-shot” from Cassius Winston which was a driving layup and-one.

Not only did Michigan State erase a 15-point deficit in the blink of an eye, but the Spartans took a double-digit lead about five minutes later. We saw an incredible 25-point swing in 10 minutes and this showed just how dangerous Michigan State could be if it played to its potential consistently.

We didn’t see a full game, but we got one heck of a memorable comeback out of it.
