3. MSU’s comeback vs. No. 20 Penn State on the road

It was halftime and the score was 46-31. Penn State wasn’t missing shots, Myreon Jones was a stone-cold killer from 3-point range and the Spartans looked defeated.

This was Michigan State’s second-to-last chance to remain in the Big Ten title hunt and it looked like the Spartans certainly blew it.

After building a 15-point lead at the half, all Penn State had to do in the second half was just remain consistent, hit a few good looks and keep that momentum. Unfortunately, the Nittany Lions ran into a much different Michigan State team in the final 20 minutes.

Heck, they found that out within the first five minutes of the second half.

In fact, it only took Michigan State 4:57 to tie the game back up, going on a 18-3 run to start the half, and they took a lead 30 seconds later and never looked back.

The Spartans completed the epic comeback, beat the No. 20 team on the road by eight and set themselves up for a senior day title clincher against Ohio State.

This win was massive.
