We haven’t seen Josh Langford take the floor in a year and a half so it’s safe to say some people may have forgotten just how good he was when healthy.

Langford went down with a foot injury at the start of Big Ten play last year and missed the remainder of the season and looked as if he was prepared to return to full-strength in 2019-20, but he suffered a setback right before the season and was ruled out for the year. It was supposed to be his last ride and he deserved a proper senior sendoff, but didn’t get one.

While he did go through senior day festivities for the Spartans, he has the option to return, utilizing his redshirt on a missed senior season.

If that’s the case, the Spartans could return one of the best mid-range shooters Tom Izzo has ever had and a consistent scorer who could eclipse 15 points on a nightly basis. In fact, he averaged 15 points per game as a junior before his injury and has shot over 40 percent from 3-point range for his career.

Right now, I’d lean toward him moving on, but he hasn’t ruled that out yet.

Chances of returning: 30 percent
