1. Michigan State clinches share of Big Ten title

Watching Indiana choke away a lead late in Saturday afternoon’s game against Wisconsin was painful. It crushed Michigan State’s hopes of being an outright Big Ten champ with a win on Sunday as well as the goal of being the No. 1 seed in the conference tourney.

But there’s still another game that could dictate co-champions as Maryland hosts No. 25 Michigan and if the Terps win, they, too, will share the conference crown.

Michigan State will host No. 18 Ohio State in the early evening with one thing on the mind: a third straight Big Ten title. It’s not going to be a sure win like many people think as Kaleb Wesson and the Buckeyes have everything they need to pull off an upset.

Xavier Tillman will play some lockdown defense on Wesson, Cassius Winston will have a monster game and the Spartans will get solid contributions from Kyle Ahrens, Aaron Henry and Rocket Watts. Heck, there might even be a Gabe Brown sighting.

There’s too much on the line and this team has been too focused to let this golden opportunity slip through its fingers. Michigan State will win by five and clinch a share of the conference crown.
