2. Cassius Winston has monster farewell game

If I was feeling really bold, I’d say that Bill Beekman would take the microphone after the game during the senior day festivities and announce the retirement of the No. 5 at Michigan State.

No, I’m not feeling that bold today, but it won’t take long for the Spartans to make sure no one ever wears that number in the green and white again. However, I am feeling a monster game from Cassius Winston with about five 3-pointers, 25 points and at least eight assists. I’ve been predicting double-doubles from the senior point guard for a couple of weeks, but it wouldn’t shock me if that happened on Sunday.

The final home game for arguably the best all-around point guard in Michigan State history not named Magic Johnson (and some would argue Mateen Cleaves still has an edge) will be all the motivation he needs to play his best game in months.

I’m predicting this will be his best game since he dominated Michigan back in early January and he’ll remain red-hot from 3-point range.

Cassius will go out with a bang and kiss that Spartan logo with pride.
