Michigan State is rich at the wide receiver position, but what’s one more? Expect Jalen Nailor to go into spring as the No. 1 option after the surprising pro declaration of Cody White. The No. 2 spot should be up for grabs between now-eligible transfer Jayden Reed and sophomore Julian Barnett.

The No. 3 spot is where Tre Mosley comes in. Burning his redshirt last year, he came on strong towards the end of the season. Playing in five games, he recorded 21 catches, 216 yards and a touchdown reception against Illinois. Against Maryland, Mosley eight catches for 73 yards. He also had a few clutch catches in the bowl game.

If Mosley played a full season, who knows what his numbers could have been. He could also push either Reed or Barnett for the No. 2 receiver position.

Mosley proved he can be a playmaker for new offensive coordinator Jay Johnson and this Spartan offense, and whoever gets the starting quarterback job, they’ll be happy to have a good set of hands like Mosley’s.
