MSU vs. 25 Ohio State (March 8 at 4:30 p.m. ET)

Ohio State, much like Michigan State, has had a roller coaster of a year. The Buckeyes have been able to get up to being ranked in the top 10 and then have lost their way. This will be the only matchup this season between the two teams and it’s always a battle.

All eyes will be on Kaleb Wesson for Ohio State. Will he be able to lead his team to victory against Michigan State? Everyone knows he is capable of pouring it on, but will he produce in this environment?

For Michigan State, it will be eyes on one of the sophomores. Will one of them step up to cement themselves as the third scorer for the team before tournament season? Everyone knows Cassius Winston and Xavier Tillman can produce but all season long fans have been waiting for a third player to escalate into the third go to player. Someone will need to step up to win this game as well as to gain momentum for tourney time.

For this game if Kaleb is shut down from having a double-double then the Spartans will be in good position to add this quality win to their resume. Keeping the turnovers down and out-rebounding the Buckeyes are the keys to victory here.

Prediction: MSU 77, Ohio State 70
