1. Michigan State shows up to play, wins by 10

This isn’t a road game, so we should expect Michigan State to step up to the plate in East Lansing and get out to a quick start. The Spartans will stymy the Nittany Lions early on and build a double-digit lead in the first half only to see it cut to five at the break.

Penn State will come out stronger in the second half and take a lead, but Michigan State will answer back with a big run that puts it back out in front by 10-plus.

The Spartans will maintain that the rest of the way as they’ll hold on to a double-digit lead at the Breslin Center and the home fans will love it. Other than a two-minute stretch against Northwestern and versus Michigan, this will be the loudest it gets all season and the team will feed off it.

Lamar Stevens and the Nittany Lions will still keep it respectable and cut the lead to under 10 multiple times, but timely Cassius Winston threes and stellar play from Xavier Tillman and Aaron Henry will keep it out of reach.
