1. Michigan State gets off to hot start, cruises

No win in the Big Ten is easy, especially on the road, but Wisconsin is missing two of its best players for Saturday’s game and that could be wearing on the minds of the Badger players as well because neither was an expected loss.

In fact, Kobe King’s departure from the program was sudden and shocking to those outside of the program — those close to the Badgers saw the writing on the wall. Brad Davison’s suspension was also somewhat shocking to Wisconsin fans because, well, they have seen him make plays like the one vs. Iowa that got him suspended before without any punishment beyond that game.

Without those two players and with a poor state of mind, the Badgers will get off to a slow start while Michigan State will race out to a 10-point lead in the first 10 minutes and then hold on for the remainder of the game.

Wisconsin will make things interesting and pull within a few points on numerous occasions as the Kohl Center erupts with a few big runs, but Michigan State, namely Cassius Winston, will silence the crowd with big 3-pointers.

Michigan State will finish with an eight-point win after leading by 10-plus for most of the game which is almost unheard of on the road these days.
