Michigan State football is looking to end its 2020 recruiting class on a high note. Which five recruits could round out the cycle?

Even though it’s been an off year for Michigan State football, recruiting never ends. Mark Dantonio and the staff have been on the road for the past couple of weeks, looking to close out the 2020 class on a high note.

The Spartans seemed to have a pretty full class until a number of players entered the transfer portal this season. What that means is that more spots opened up for the Spartans to add to the 2020 class and there are big names left on the board.

Who could realistically round out Michigan State’s 2020 recruiting class?

5. Frank Brown, 3-star RB (Houston, Texas)

A newer name in this cycle for Michigan State is Frank Brown. The three-star running back from Houston was just offered by the Spartans on Dec. 3 and is taking a visit to East Lansing this weekend. If the interest wasn’t mutual, this prompt visit wouldn’t be taking place.

Brown has speed and decent size for the position at 6-foot-0 and 180 pounds, but he could still afford to add some muscle to his frame. He’s a track star, too, so that helps his case as a playmaker who could contribute right away in 2020.

The three-star back has offers from the likes of Arizona, Missouri, Nebraska, Texas Tech, Utah, Arkansas and Colorado and it looks like the Spartans are making a late push.

He’s ranked the No. 438 overall recruit and 11th-best all-purpose back in the 2020 class, per 247Sports.

With the transfers of La’Darius Jefferson and Connor Heyward, this addition would make sense.
