4. Aaron Henry averages 15 points per game

If you’ve watched Michigan State over the past two seasons, you have probably seen the coaching staff lay into Aaron Henry a few times. That has drawn plenty of criticism from opposing fans and national media members but the reality of the matter is that they expect the world out of Henry (whose potential is through the roof) and he welcomes that type of coaching.

Henry will respond with a huge month of December, averaging over 15 points per game and not giving the coaching staff much to groan about.

The sophomore wing man has been fantastic thus far this season, but Tom Izzo expects more out of him. He’s capable of averaging more than 12 points per game and his shooting numbers are way up. In fact, he’s making about 56 percent of his shots from the floor and 46 percent from 3-point range. Expect that to continue.

We’ll see an even more aggressive Henry this month as he tries to make the Spartans a top-five team again before Big Ten play gets back into full swing.

Henry will average 15.6 points and over five rebounds per game in the month from the wing spot because, well, that’s what he’s capable of doing.
