4. Brian Lewerke bounces back

As a senior, Brian Lewerke wants to go out on a high note and what better way than to bounce back from a horrid month of October and surpass the yardage total from his breakout 2017 season before a potential bowl game.

Lewerke needs 1,032 yards through the air to tie his career-high for a single season and if he has a month like he had in September against even more inferior foes, he should be able to surpass that mark and put what happened in October behind him. This is a crucial period to prove to fans that he can be a better quarterback and that his confidence is still high.

Playing three straight elite defenses of top-10 opponents hurt his morale a bit, but if he can average about 250 yards per game through the air, he will be on track to break some career-highs.

I’m going to say he does just that, passing for 1,100 yards and 10 touchdowns with just one more interception. That will put his numbers on the year at about 2,800 yards, 21 touchdowns and five picks. That’s a great way to go out.
