vs. Binghamton (Nov. 10)

Binghamton will be a nice break in between Michigan State’s Champions Classic opener vs. No. 2 Kentucky and a road game against No. 12 Seton Hall. The Bearcats have made just one NCAA Tournament in school history, so they’re not exactly an America East power. They’re projected to finish near the bottom of the standings this season, too, so expect a blowout here.

Final Score: Binghamton 51, Michigan State 88 (2-0)

at No. 12 Seton Hall (Nov. 14)

This is the game everyone seems to be looking forward to but it’s not going to be an easy battle even though Seton Hall finished just 20-14 last year. The Pirates return Myles Powell who is a potential All-American and Big East Player of the Year candidate. He’s joined by a solid backcourt mate in Quincy McKnight and a team with plenty of size and depth. There are a ton of veterans on this team, which could spell trouble for MSU.

Final Score: Michigan State 71, Seton Hall 74 (2-1)

vs. Charleston Southern (Nov. 18)

Charleston Southern finished fifth in the Big South last season but there’s plenty of optimism for the team heading into 2019-20 with all-name team star Phlandrous Fleming Jr. leading the way. Unfortunately, it won’t be enough as the Spartans will dominate the game from start to finish.

Final Score: Charleston Southern 58, Michigan State 81 (3-1)
