3. Cody White

We have all been waiting for junior Receiver Cody White to have that breakout game and last week was it. However, he also had a critical fumble on a punt return which nearly slipped momentum in Northwestern’s favor.

It’s easy to only focus on the bad, but he did make plays all over the field. He had a tremendous run making something out of a busted play.

White is that player who can be truly special much like Felton Davis III had been. This is a game for him to take that next step for this offense since teams are already trying to take fellow wideout senior Darrell Stewart Jr. away.

White should receive more attention from senior quarterback Brian Lewerke. This game can be a huge confidence builder for him as they next week into OSU.
